Agreeing to these terms
These terms cover your use of this website and any work you hire Fortuna Foothills Spray Foam Insulation to do at your house or building. When you browse the site, ask for a quote, schedule a visit or let our crew start work, you agree to these terms.
If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site or book work with us. If something here is unclear, call us at (928) 259-2086 or reach us through our contact page before you go ahead.
Who we are and what we do
Fortuna Foothills Spray Foam Insulation is a local insulation contractor in Fortuna Foothills, AZ, and we also work in Yuma, Somerton and the cities around them. We install spray foam, blown-in and batt insulation, remove old insulation, air seal attics and crawl spaces, and put in vapor barriers for homes and commercial buildings. You can read more about us on our about page or start from the home page.
The service descriptions on this site are general. The work we do at your property is the work written in your estimate or agreement, and that document wins if it differs from anything on the site.
Estimates and pricing
We give free quotes on site with no obligation. We look at the space before we price it because the size of the area, how much insulation is already up there, what condition it's in, how easy the space is to reach and which material you choose all change the cost.
An estimate is based on what we can see during the visit. Once a job is open, we sometimes find things we couldn't see before, like soaked or damaged old insulation, droppings, hidden gaps or damaged framing. If that happens, we'll stop, show you what we found and give you the added cost in writing before we do any extra work. We won't add charges you haven't approved.
Prices in an estimate hold for the period written on it. After that, material costs may have changed and we may need to update the quote.
Scheduling and cancellation
We'll set a start date with you once you accept the estimate. Weather, material deliveries, access to the property and earlier jobs running long can move a date, and if that happens we'll call you as soon as we know and work out a new time.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please call us as early as you can so we can give the slot to someone else. If we've already ordered material made for your job or started work, you may owe for that material and the work done up to that point, as written in your estimate or agreement.
On the day of the job, we need clear access to the work area, a working power supply if the job calls for it and pets kept away from the crew. Some foam work means you and your family need to stay out of the house until the re-entry time we give you, which is how long the space needs to air out before you come back in. Please follow those instructions, because we can't be responsible for problems that come from going back in early.
Payment
Payment terms, including any deposit and when the balance is due, are written in your estimate or agreement. Unless that document says otherwise, payment is due when the work is finished and we've walked through it with you.
If a payment is late, we may pause any remaining work until the account is current, and you may be responsible for reasonable costs we have to pay to collect what's owed, as far as Arizona law allows.
Our guarantee and what it doesn't cover
We're licensed and insured, and we offer satisfaction guaranteed on every job. If something about our work isn't right, call us and we'll come out, look at it and make it right if the problem comes from our workmanship.
Our guarantee doesn't cover damage or problems caused by things outside our work, such as roof leaks, plumbing leaks, pests, other contractors disturbing the insulation, changes made to the house after we leave or normal settling of loose fill. Material warranties come from the makers of the products we install, and we'll pass along any maker's warranty that applies.
Apart from the guarantee above and any written warranty in your agreement, our services and this website are provided as they are, without other promises or warranties, as far as the law allows. We can't promise a specific drop in your power bill or a specific indoor temperature, because those depend on your house, your cooling system and how you use it.
Limits on our liability
As far as Arizona law allows, Fortuna Foothills Spray Foam Insulation isn't liable for indirect or follow-on losses, like lost income, lost use of the property or costs of staying somewhere else, that come from our work or from using this website. If we are found liable for a problem with a job, our responsibility is limited to the amount you paid us for that job.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit.
Using this website
The information on this site is general and meant to help you understand insulation work. It isn't a substitute for an inspection of your own house, and you shouldn't rely on it alone for a decision about your property.
The text, photos and design on this site belong to Fortuna Foothills Spray Foam Insulation. Please don't copy them for business use without asking us first. Links to other websites are there for convenience, and we're not responsible for what those sites say or do.
If we have a disagreement
If you're unhappy with anything, please call us first at (928) 259-2086. Most problems get settled by talking them through and, when needed, coming back out to look at the work together.
If we can't settle it that way, we both agree to try mediation in good faith before going to court. If it still isn't resolved, any lawsuit will be brought in the state or federal courts serving Yuma County, Arizona.
Which law applies
These terms and any work we do for you are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to rules that would point to another state's laws.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, and the version posted on this page is the one that applies. Changes don't affect a job that's already covered by a signed estimate or agreement, unless we both agree in writing.
If you have a question about these terms, call us at (928) 259-2086, any day from 7 AM to 11 PM, or send a message through our contact page. We reply within 1 business day.
